In 2011, Dean & Jennifer Bennett started a company called Safety Station in their basement. After getting a store front in 2013, Dean noticed that his customers had screen printing and embroidery on their safety garments and work clothing. Dean began to offer these services, but had to out source the screen printing and embroidery. The turn around time and quality left a lot to be desired. In 2014, Dean decided to do the screen printing and embroidery in house.
Ink 182 began in their garage with just one manual press and dryer and quickly grew into its own entity. Due to such rapid growth, in 2018 Ink 182 became officially separated from Safety Station. Ink 182 now has its own home at 1330 Paonia St. Suite D in Colorado Springs. Recently, we expanded and are now have our screen printing & design in Suite D, and our embroidery is right next door in Suite C.
Ink 182 is a local woman owned business. Jennifer now runs Ink 182 and has an amazing team that takes pride in their work.
